Chrysilios Chrysiliou

Career

After becoming a pilot and obtaining his instructional license in the early 1980s, Chrysiliou thrived as an instructor. In 1986, he and a partner purchased a small flight school in Southern California. Through hard work and dedication, they built it into a thriving business operating 21 aircraft and offering nationwide jet charters, earning numerous FAA commendations. After the 1994 Northridge earthquake damaged the business, he sold the flight school and founded Transworld Innovation in 1995, an import/export business specializing in consumer goods, with operations in the United States and Europe. In the early 2000s, he transitioned to commercial real estate, joining RDPH Properties, Inc., which he continues to lead. In the 2010s, he ventured into food services, opening a successful restaurant and a string of Honeycup Coffeehouse and Creamery locations. He later founded Nurifo, a "food as medicine" company producing nutritious meals for individuals with specific dietary needs.

Early life

Chrysilios Chrysiliou was born into a large and close-knit family in Cyprus in 1961. His life changed dramatically when war broke out in Cyprus in 1974. His family lost nearly everything, and at the age of 13, he became a war refugee. Despite the upheaval, he maintained his dream of becoming a pilot. In the early 1980s, when he was in his early 20s, he immigrated to America, where he began training for a career as a pilot.
